18 months ago, our rabbits had babies. As they grew older, we moved them onto the grass in the yard, where they were all very happy. Apart from one black bunny.
So here we are in January, 2021, and with COVID-19 still running rife, our society continues on with lock downs, face masks, physical distancing, and business closures. But despite the chaos, disruption, and disappointments, life on the farm goes on, and we're outlining and planning for the Spring.
A Late Night Hike in Gleneden.
Bright, Beautiful and Snowy! We were out doing some farm chores a few days ago; the sun was out, it was mild, and the recent snow fall looked glorious across the landscape; here are some more photos, following on from our previous ones.
Gleneden Ridge Farm has just had it's second snowfall of the year, and it was a good one! Here it is in pictures and video!
Heading into the Cold
As we said in our previous post, Gleneden Ridge Farm has reached the end of it's 2020 vacation season. We've had lots of high points and the net result is that we've maintained our Airbnb Superhost status, which is great!
Our Summer season had a late start, what with the COVID-19 pandemic wreaking havoc. It was late June when we our first Airbnb guests arrived, and July when we started barrel racing, but the late start gave us some time to get some jobs done.
This past weekend, we were supposed to go to a 'funkhana' mountain trail event in White Lake, however, due to unforeseen circumstances, the event got cancelled. We were all prepared, disappointed, and had food ready for the potluck, and with the day being nice and sunny, there was nothing else to do but create our own!
A Successful 2020 CBR Finals for Gleneden Ridge Farm.
